Can I request the same service provider for recurring appointments?
Yes, you can request the same helper for recurring appointments. We check their availability before confirming the booking. A prepayment is required to secure the recurring slot. We strive to send the same cleaner each time, except during their leave, in which case we will notify you and arrange a temporary replacement.
What are the service providers' nationalities?
The majority of our service providers are from the Philippines, with some from Sri Lanka. All are highly professional and well-trained.
Do I need to have my own cleaning supplies?
If you have your own cleaning supplies, that’s great! If you prefer us to bring our cleaning materials, our crew will come equipped with the following:

- Multi-purpose cleaner
- Disinfectant
- Glass cleaner
- Cream cleaner
Cleaning Equipment:
- Vacuum cleaner
- Bucket and mop
- Microfiber cloth
- Sponge cloth
- Wiper
- Brush
- Paper towel roll
Note: There is an extra charge of AED 10 per hour for cleaning materials and an additional AED 10 for the vacuum cleaner for the entire service.
Do you offer any promotions or discounts?
Yes, we offer attractive discounts for recurring bookings starting at 8 hours per week, with prepayment required to confirm. Depending on the number of hours booked, you can enjoy discounts ranging from 8% to 20%.

What is your refund procedure?
If a refund is required, the amount will be reimbursed directly to your bank account. Please allow up to 14 business days for the refund to be processed, depending on your bank. This policy applies to payments made via our payment link.
Can I extend my booking if I need more time?
If you discover that the initially booked duration is insufficient for your needs, you can contact our customer service team via call or message to inquire about extending your booking. Please be aware that extensions are subject to availability in your service provider’s schedule.
Can I reschedule or cancel my booking?
Rescheduling Fee:
- 12+ hours before the appointment: Free of charge
- 12 to 2 hours before the appointment: Free of charge
- Less than 2 hours before the appointment: 25% of the appointment value
- On-the-spot cancellation: 100% of the appointment value
Cancellation Fee:
- 12+ hours before the appointment: Free of charge
- 12 to 2 hours before the appointment: 25% of the appointment value
- Less than 2 hours before the appointment: 50% of the appointment value
- On-the-spot cancellation: 100% of the appointment value
Is it possible to have the cleaning done even if I am not at home?
Don’t worry if you’re busy and unable to be home during the cleaning session. Our reliable cleaners are capable of completing the job efficiently even in your absence.
Please keep in mind:
- For recurring services, we suggest your presence during the first booking. This allows you to meet the professional, give them a tour of your home, and outline your expectations.
- For one-time cleaning services, kindly inform us of how our professional can access your home (e.g., leaving the key under the mat, providing it to security, leaving the door open, etc.). You can also specify any special instructions when booking the appointment.
What should I do if I am not satisfied with my service?
At Metropolitan Maids, our goal is to deliver top-quality experiences to our clients. Rest assured, all our helpers undergo thorough training to ensure excellence. However, if by chance we fall short of your expectations, please notify us promptly within 24 hours.
